Inspired by the finely woven contemporary poi by master weavers. Adrienne layered her own hand drawings to stylise her own version of her pēpī (Harete’s) favourite taonga - Kia whakatōmuri te haere whakamua ‘I walk backwards into the future with my eyes fixed on my past’
